The new shooter Call of Duty Black Ops could turn around the dwindling profits of the video game industry just in time for the holiday shopping season.
The game went on sale today at midnight, and had gamers and fans of the series camping out outside of stores across the nation.

Not only that, it could surpass the first day sales record of more than $400 million which was set by Activision’s previous blockbuster hit Call of Duty Modern Warfare.
The new game set in the cold war includes a popular multiplayer mode.
