President Obama’s Motorcade Stuck In Heavy Snow In D.C.

After a heavy wet snow that left commuters stranded in their cars for hours, some abandoning them and walking the rest of the way, President Obama’s presidential motorcade became stuck in the wet snow after returning from Wisconsin from Andrews Air Force Base.

Normally the President would have taken the Presidential helicopter, but the conditions forced the chopper to be grounded, forcing the President to take to the roads like many Washington, D.C. area residents.

The drive normally takes 25 minutes from Andrews, but ended up taking just over an hour.

Officials say there was lots of stopping, skidding, and weaving.
