    In Russia’s Far Eastern Kamchatka peninsula two volcanoes called Shiveluch and Karmysky are spewing ash high into the sky causing chaos for air traffic but posing no threat to nearby towns.

    Mt. Shiveluch has been active since late-2006 and Mt. Karymsky started erupting in January 1996.
