In this spectacular image from Astronomy Pic of the Day, Space Shuttle Discovery’s cargo is unloaded by the space station’s Dextre robot and Canadarm2. The Leonardo Multi Purpose Logistics Module is the large cylindrical like object in the shuttle’s cargo bay, and is used to store supplies and carry cargo to the space station.

The module will become a permanent addition to the space station after seven flights on board Discovery.

This is Space Shuttle Discovery’s 38th and last voyage to the stars.
