Online War Brewing Between LulzSec and Anonymous Hacker Groups

Hacking has grown in popularity in recent years due to the growth of online communities.

The two hacking groups LulzSec and Anonymous are going to war with each other over their hacking exploits.

LulzSec has claimed responsibility for numerous hacking attacks against Sony, the CIA, and internet gaming companies.

Anonymous is notable for hacking Sony and government websites, but the two hacking groups are now attacking each other.

Anonymous members frequent the infamous internet message board 4chan, and a poster there, supposedly working for Anonymous, told people to report hackers belonging to LulzSec to the FBI.

On Tuesday, LulzSec tweeted: “Challenged accepted, losers :D,” letting Anonymous know they were on to their game.

LulzSec later tweeted a message implying it had launched a denial of service attack on 4Chan’s Web hosting company in an effort to take it down.

“Sorry #Anonymous, your LOIC hive is no match for our phone redirect hive. A certain hosting company just got 1000+ calls,” LulzSec tweeted.

Anonymous seems to have been upset with LulzSec’s trying to crash the web servers of popular online games League of Legends, Minecraft and EVE Online.
