Baltimore City finally gets a WaWa
The gas station convenience store company opened its first store in 1964.

The new location is right off of Interstate 95 on Eastern Ave in Baltimore City.
It is now the 40th store to open in Maryland and the first to open in the city. The store features the newest WaWa amenities including touch screen ordering of lattes and espressos and a hoagie bakery.
WaWa has been expanding in the Maryland area recently and plans to open more stores in the Baltimore area.
WaWa’s company headquarters is located in Chester Heights, PA. The name WaWa comes from the site of the company’s first milk processing plant in the WaWa area of Pennsylvania.

The company opened its first store in 1964 in Folsom, Ridley Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Today WaWa has an annual revenue of US$ 4.5 billion.
