Singer Whitney Houston was found dead in her Beverly Hills hotel room Saturday.
Paramedics tried to resuscitate Houston unsuccessfully upon arrival at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
She was 48 and had a tumultuous but amazing career as a pop singer. She was married at one point to rapper Bobby Brown and a history of drug abuse.
She sold millions of record albums and soared to fame after appearing on the Bodyguard film soundtrack.
Houston was the only artist to chart seven consecutive No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hits (“Saving All My Love for You”, “How Will I Know”, “Greatest Love of All”, “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)”, “Didn’t We Almost Have It All”, “So Emotional” and “Where Do Broken Hearts Go”).
