Maybe it’s all the talk about 2012 and the end of the world, but photography is getting really strange.

In the latest work from Lucie and Simon aptly named Silent World, some of the most famous places in the world have all their people except for one or two removed.

Now, I think they used a lot of post production (aka Photoshop) to achieve this effect, but I could be wrong.

The video below shows some nice before and after effects.
