The U.S. Coast Guard is reporting that two Coast Guard members have been shot dead on an Alaskan Island. The island is used as a communications station and is 100 miles long.

It’s unclear if the shootings are suicidal or murder related. Captain Jesse Moore said that it’s “possible that the suspect remains at large.” Officials say FBI agents from Anchorage are headed to the large island about 250 miles away.

There have been rumors that Russians are involved, but these have not been investigated.
