Now as many as 20 Secret Service agents and military personnel may be involved in the prostitution scandal in Colombia where President Obama was visiting.
Experts are calling the incident one of the biggest security lapses in years, fearing agents may compromise the security of the agency and the President.
Two of the agents involved in the scandal are at the highest levels of the federal pay scale earning over $110,000.
The Obama administration is coming under fire for married Secret Service agents joking “wheels up, rings off” as the President’s airplane lifts off the ground.
Reports are coming from sources that Secret Service agents paid owners of a nightclub in Cartagena $60 a piece to bring prostitutes back to a hotel where the agents were staying while they awaited the President’s arrival for a summit.
According to reports, one of the women demanded an additional $170 which set off an argument which drew the attention of hotel staff at the Hotel Caribe.
