1960’s Robin probably unrecognizable in Batman Dark Knight Rises

Probably no Holy Cow Batman one liners in gritty bat thriller

If Robin shows up in the new Dark Knight Batman movie, you probably wouldn’t even know it.

Sure he would be a sidekick, but the franchise is so gritty and dark under Christopher Nolan’s direction he would have to be drastically revamped from his 1960’s goofiness.

We hope to have at least one “Holy Swiss Cheese” Batman and Robin moment of bliss before we see some serious tag team asskicking.

Some crazed fans are combing through the Dark Knight rises trailers for any sign of the masked boy wonder.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is playing Gotham City police officer John Blake and many fans think this is the cover for Batman’s sidekick.

Some are saying Joseph Gordon Levitt may be appearing as Batman's sidekick.

It is doubtful in DKR that Batman’s sidekick’s name would be Robin, as the Dark Knight series finale is set in a different comic book universe than the original 1960’s comic version.

The Bat movie opens nationwide July 20 on the silver screen and in IMAX.
