Portugal attorney Samuel Silva has a serious hobby. He draws masterpieces with ball point pens you can find at office supply stores.
He spends up to 50 hours on some of the masterpieces.
‘It takes me forever to do my works. The only thing that makes me keep going is my love for what I do and the ambition to go further and further.
‘Ballpoint pens are as underestimated as they are a powerful medium.’
Some of Silva’s works are copies of well known masterpieces. But he likes to draw original’s more.
He uses a technique called “hatch crossing”, a technique that gives depth to the drawings.
