I have been getting questions about whether Blue Moon Apple Spieced Ale is sold in Maryland, specifically the Baltimore area, and the answer is…YES.
What did you think? Every liquor store around here is rolling in the money like you wouldn’t believe.
Just picked some up today. If you look, you shall find…
Blue Moon beer has been doing an advertising promotion here in Baltimore for tonight’s blue moon, the second full moon this month.
The digital billboard off I-95 North has been counting down the days till the blue moon, and reminds you to have a Blue Moon when the time comes.
And the time is upon us.
We like to think of it as another excuse to get blasted, and you probably should, because the next Blue Moon in a calendar month won’t be until 2015.
To celebrate, the Miller Coors owned company is parading out a new beer: Caramel Apple Spice Ale. Now, we hope this doesn’t take like crap, but it might.
Drinkers on Blue Moon’s Facebook page were asked to choose a special “blue moon” beer for the occasion and the suggestions were whittled down to three finalists: Blackberry Tart, Chocolate Bacon Porter, and the winning Caramel Apple Spiced Ale.
Chocolate Bacon Porter? What the hell? Why not just grind up a pig and mix it with chocolate milk? Blackberry Tart actually sounds the best of the three if you ask me, but I didn’t vote, so it doesn’t matter anyway.
I mean, this is beer we are talking about. The lifeblood of America.
The Caramel Apple Spice Ale will be sold in Blue Moon’s fall variety pack, along with the Blue Moon Belgian White, Belgian Pale Ale and Harvest Pumpkin Ale.
