Man breaks speed of sound jumping from edge of space

From MSNBC

Felix Baugartner leaped into space miles above earth form a balloon, shattering three world records for the highest skydive ever attempted.

One of the records was legendary American pilot Chuck Yeager’s made in the 1960’s.

It took an inflatable balloon nearly 2 1/2 hours to carry Baugartner to the stratosphere miles above the earth.

It’s incredible how private companies are now dominating space thanks to the way the government downgraded NASA.
