Should people really be driving into tornadoes for the thrill of it? Oklahoma City hit hard today

Should they be helping people instead of trying to get the best footage?

A powerful 2 mile wide F5 tornado struck Oklahoma City today, causing death and destruction. A whole neighborhood was flattened and a school with children inside was hit.

The question then is, should people like storm chasers really be driving into these things? The poor people that do die in this storms don’t have the protection that weather chasers like Jim Cantore have, outfitted with heavy duty vehicles and supplies.

Under the guise of science they claim they are helping people, but it really is for ratings purposes on cable television channels and to one up each other with the best footage.

Meanwhile, they should be driving around to people alerting them to the tornado or at least help move vulnerable people to safer locations.
