We regret reporting Dan Bongino winning the 6th District race. Delaney still has a narrow lead over Bongino in the race, which is sure to be recounted.
One Republican calls it quits, another jumps in
Dan Bongino, a former Secret Service agent turned Republican activist, set his sights on taking back Maryland’s 6th District congressional seat for the GOP. Bongino, 38, who announced his candidacy at an American Legion post in Frederick, is attempting to oust Democratic U.S. Rep. John Delaney of Montgomery County.
Too bad the whole district has been gerrymandered to hell to prevent any Republican from winning.
“This is not a 7-1 state,” Bongino said, vowing to cut the 7-1 margin for Maryland in the House of Representatives.
