Adrian Peterson, who was sent to the locker room with an injury during a game with a dramatic finish in Baltimore had this to say to the Baltimore Ravens:
“They’ve got the worst fans in the NFL,” Peterson said following the Minnesota Vikings’ heartbreaking 29-26 loss in Baltimore. “(They were) throwing snowballs the entire fourth quarter, like kids.
Peterson injured his foot during game, so he wasn’t in a great mood anyway. Were they throwing them at the players on the field or at each other?
Vikings fans were upset at some of the calls by referees during the game favoring Baltimore.
Minnesota took a 26-22 lead with a 79-yard touchdown reception with under a minute remaining.
But the defending Super Bowl champion Ravens answered in stunning fashion with only seconds left, when Joe Flacco connecting with Marlon Brown for the game-winning 9-yard touchdown.
Baltimore is now 7-6 behind 9-4 Cincinnati in the AFC North bettering their playoff hopes while Minnesota falls to 3-9 for the season.
