  • After protesters caused damage in downtown Baltimore near Camden Yards Saturday night, Maryland congressman Elijah Cummings says it was out of towners who started the ruckus.

Protests are continuing after the death of Freddie Gray, a 25 year old whose spinal cord was severed during a police stop.

Protesters made their way to Camden Yards where a baseball game was being played after organizing at city hall.

Police followed and set up barricades around the stadium while spectators watched the Orioles play the Red Sox. Spectators were told to remain in the stadium over a public address system due to public safety concerns during the protest near the conclusion of the game.

Some windows were smashed and broken in nearby convenience stores and restaurants and over 30 rioters were arrested.

25-year-old Freddie Gray died April 19, a week after sustaining a spinal cord injury while in police custody.
