Justin Bieber and Ed Sheehan team up to save Billboard’s HOT 100 with “I Don’t Care”

It appears hit music radio is back.

It only took Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran to save it from the doldrums. No doubt the song “I Don’t Care” was planned to be released in time for summer, but it appears good things can come to those who wait.

With the chemistry between Sheeran’s songwriting and Justin Bieber’s smooth crooning, the track has already cracked the charts around the world shooting straight to number one and appears slated to debut next week on the Billboard HOT 100 at the #2 spot.

It has already smashed previous one day streaming records on most platforms, knocking off the previous one day record set by Mariah Carey “All I Want For Christmas”.

The music video also is pounding YouTube’s servers, and people’s minds as well with its 21st century meme-psychedelic internet feel. We could be witnessing the re-birth of danceable pop music for Generation X, Y, and Z.

The fan reaction videos are flooding YouTube as well, the best reaction so far coming from the Brother YouTube channel
